The Tri-County Mardi Gras

 A local group is forming a Mardi Gras group. Here's an informational buletin that they've provided.

 We are looking for volunteers for what will hopefully become an annual tradition. The Mummers are an incredible sight to see. and be a part of. A lot of us have marched with them many, many times. We remember how it felt to be a part of something special.

So. . . here it is! We would like our families and children to eb a part of something just as special - The Tri-County Mardi Gras.

 There are no membership fees. There are no dues to pay. Only what you pay for yours or your childrens coustumes or outfits.

We will need people to volunteer to be costume designers (those who help make them), seemstresses, musicians that can walk and put on a good show, and troupe captains.  Anyone that can spare time for somethign that will be creatively outstanding and make this our own.

Any and all support is welcome. We're not lookign for sponsorship or to be a walking commercial. Let's create somethign special, nto only for ourselves, but for our families as well.

Bob will take your information. We have a two month window for everyone to sign up. During and after that we will be meeting and discussing ideas for "skits" so to speak. For example: "A Tribute to the Hillybilly Dudes and Wenches" or "Gangsta Shotgun Wedding."
